This program expands on the concepts of floral design and explores advanced techniques to create exquisite pieces for the wedding party, religious venue and reception facility. Students learn the fine art of wedding floral planning from the initial client consultation to delivery and set up of the final product.

One year design experience or PFD101
Discover the principles involved in creating beautiful wedding designs, including a fine assortment of corsages and boutonnieres. In the first of a three-part series devoted to personal wedding flowers, learn wiring, taping and assembly techniques necessary to create well balanced, professionally designed wedding bouquets.
FWS102 - Bridal Bouquets Level I or one year design experience
Learn how to coordinate gown fabrics and styles with appropriate floral materials and bouquet designs. Discover unique applications for corsages. Participate in the planning and preparation of floral pieces for a wedding, while considering such concepts as colour, location of ceremony, religion, etc.
Learn how to prepare for a successful wedding from the initial wedding consultation to delivery and set up of the final product. Students explore current trends related to bridal wear and coordinating flowers. Contemporary European techniques are used to create bridal bouquets. Floral pieces for the ceremony and reception are created.
Students must bring a knife, wire cutters, and small garden shears to classes.
Student work is monitored for technique and creativity throughout the term and assigned as Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory.
One year floral design experience or PFD101
During this one day hands on workshop students participate in the planning and preparation of floral pieces for a wedding, taking into consideration concepts such as colour, location of ceremony, religion and other important aspects. A demonstration of two floral pieces is given and students create a bouquet and a centerpiece.
