Yes. We will walk you through what to expect on the ontariocolleges.ca website, including how to:

  • search and add programs to your application
  • review program requirements
  • request transcripts or supporting documents digitally from your institutions
  • submit your application and track the status of your application

To get the most out of your advising session, please bring: 

  • your ontariocolleges.ca login information (if you have already created an account)
  • a list of programs or areas of interest you’re considering
  • questions about admission requirements, next steps or starting your application

Seneca proudly offers more than 300 programs in various areas of study—from health care, technology and business to creative arts, science and more. You can browse our programs or try our career assessment tool to explore options and career possibilities.

Our team is also happy to offer one-on-one advising during the application support drop-in to help you find the program that’s right for you.

Yes, applications are open for our Sept. 2026 Term. Explore program availability to see which programs are currently accepting applications and which may be waitlisted. Availability is updated regularly, so we encourage you to check often if you have specific programs in mind and to apply early for competitive programs.

If you’re a mature applicant applying to a certificate, diploma, advanced diploma or graduate certificate program and have not met program-specific prerequisite courses, you’ll be invited to write the mature applicant test(s) to meet English and/or mathematics requirements for your program.

If pre-admission testing is recommended, Seneca will contact you directly by email with the details of how to complete the test(s).

For some highly competitive programs, the English and mathematics grades or test scores can determine the ranking of applicants. It is in your best interest to complete these requirements as soon as possible. Learn more about pre-admission testing.

Please review our English Proficiency Requirements to determine whether they are required for admission to your program. If you’re missing an Ontario high school English credit to meet your program requirements, you can also join us in person at Newnham Campus during our Application Support drop-ins to learn if you qualify to complete your complimentary in-house English assessment. Assessments are offered daily from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for those who qualify — no appointment is needed. Questions? Contact our team.

Complimentary In-House English Assessment

Missing an Ontario high school English credit to meet your program requirements? Visit us at Newnham Campus during our Application Support drop-ins to complete your complimentary in-house English assessment. This free assessment helps determine whether applicants meet English proficiency requirements for admission to Seneca programs, with priority given to applicants for the Sept. 2026 Term who don’t have an English credit.
