Seneca Polytechnic and Northern College have announced a new partnership to provide international students with a pathway to complete online English training through Seneca’s English Language Institute (ELI).

The partnership will enable international students to improve their English skills online from their home countries, helping them meet the language requirements for admission to Northern programs.

“Seneca is excited to collaborate with Northern College to help support students from around the world in achieving their academic and career goals in Canada,” said Hannah Sweet, Dean, International Partnerships, Seneca Polytechnic. “A strong foundation in English language skills is essential for international students to succeed in the classroom and the workplace.”

The ELI pathway supports international recruitment for specialized programs at Northern, while also expanding Seneca’s global reach through the delivery of online English language training for students before they come to Canada.
