Access to globally recognized English-language testing is expanding at Seneca Polytechnic with the launch of a new International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test centre.

Seneca will be opening an IELTS test centre at its Seneca@York Campus in partnership with British Council Canada. IELTS is one of the world’s most trusted English-language tests and is widely accepted by governments, educational institutions, employers and professional associations in Canada and around the globe.

With the addition of Seneca@York, IELTS testing is now available on two Seneca campuses – on the east side and west side of Toronto – with these tests also offered at the Newnham Campus. These centres provide high-quality academic test administration and customer service, including accommodations for test takers with diverse needs, support for distance learners and testing for external clients.

IELTS testing at Seneca is open to Seneca students, students from other institutions and members of the broader community, helping to expand access to standardized English testing across the Greater Toronto Area.
