Each of Seneca’s degrees has been assessed and approved by the Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board in association with the Ministry of Colleges, Universities, Research Excellence and Security.
All four-year Seneca honours-level degrees are equivalent to a 120-credit honours bachelor’s degree. All three-year Seneca degrees are equivalent to a 90-credit bachelor’s degree.
$2,500 Diploma-to-Degree Scholarship
If you pursue a Seneca degree after completing a diploma program, you could be eligible for a $2,500 diploma-to-degree scholarship. Learn more about scholarships and entrance awards.
How to Apply
If you are a current Seneca student or have graduated from Seneca and wish to transfer to a Seneca degree program, follow the below steps to apply:
- Download the Diploma to Seneca Degree - Pathways Transfer form (PDF).
- Complete the form electronically using the boxes provided.
- Email your completed form to theservicehub@senecapolytechnic.ca using a valid Seneca email account.
If you are a graduate from another institution or if you wish to start in semester one of a degree program, you will need to apply through the applicable application platform:
- Domestic applicants should apply through the Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select "degree completion" as their entry semester. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.
- International applicants should apply through the Seneca International Online Application and must follow up with their Admissions Adviser (via the Service Hub at theservicehub@senecapolytechnic.ca) regarding their pathway eligibility. You will be required to provide your Seneca application number when contacting your adviser. Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.
