Seneca’s Esthetics & Medical Spa Therapies program has prepared graduates for successful careers in the rapidly growing beauty, wellness and medical esthetics industries for more than 35 years.
Through extensive hands-on learning in practical courses and the on-campus Evolutions Spa, you will gain the confidence, technical expertise and professional experience needed to succeed. Our comprehensive curriculum combines advanced theory with practical application, allowing you to master both traditional esthetic services and cutting-edge medical spa technologies. You will learn from experienced industry professionals while working with real clients in a supervised clinical environment.
You will be prepared for careers in luxury spas, medical esthetics clinics, dermatology and plastic surgery practices, wellness centres and entrepreneurship.

Seneca’s on-campus esthetic clinic, Evolutions Spa, provides students the opportunity to practice their services while working under the guidance of qualified instructors. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience interacting with clients and providing a variety of spa services such as manicures, pedicures, facials and more.

This program is offered in Seneca's hybrid delivery format with some courses available in Seneca's flexible delivery format. Some coursework is online and some must be completed in person. Students will need to come on campus to complete in-person learning requirements.
In courses delivered in the flexible format, using interactive learning spaces, professors teach in person to students in a physical classroom or lab and stream to students online at the same time. Students have a choice of coming to campus for an in-person experience or learning online.
Course timing: To allow flexibility for working professionals, some courses in this program may be held on weekday evenings and weekends.
