About the Proposed Program

At Seneca Polytechnic, we develop new programs to meet the needs of employers and the changes of a shifting labour market.

The Bachelor of Aviation – Management program is the first three-year aviation management degree of its kind in Ontario. Designed to meet the growing demand for professionals with both business acumen and specialized industry knowledge, this program prepares graduates to navigate the complex, fast-paced and highly regulated global aviation sector.

You will receive a thorough education in aviation and business, learning how to manage airport and airline operations, support regulatory compliance and safety, and lead strategic decision-making across aviation organizations. Your training will cover core business functions such as financial planning, project management, human resources and marketing alongside aviation-specific subjects including flight operations, airport logistics and safety systems.

Embedded throughout the program are experiential learning opportunities including case-based learning and a final-semester capstone project. You’ll also complete a 420-hour work-integrated learning term, giving you hands-on experience that will enhance your career readiness and industry connections.

By the time you graduate, you’ll be ready to take on impactful roles in airline and airport management, flight operations, financial analysis, scheduling, training co-ordination and more. You will also be equipped to lead socially responsible, data-informed strategies that reflect the aviation industry’s global, technological and sustainability challenges.
