Newnham 4 Semesters (2 Years) Ontario College Diploma Seneca Business

About the Proposed Program

At Seneca Polytechnic, we develop new programs to meet the needs of employers and the changes of a shifting labour market.

The Business – Supply Chain & Operations (SCO) program prepares students to meet rising industry demand for professionals who can manage risk, streamline operations and navigate global supply chain challenges in complex, tech-driven environments.

The SCO program connects core concepts with real-world applications, providing you with hands-on experience across industries such as manufacturing, retail, transportation and public administration. You will be trained in supply chain logistics, transportation, procurement, inventory control, quality standards, production processes and more — preparing you to support and optimize operations in complex, interconnected systems. You’ll also strengthen your skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, professional communication, networking and collaboration.

Experiential learning opportunities include capstone projects, access to in-demand tools such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI). You also have the opportunity to complete an optional work-integrated learning term to gain valuable industry experience.

By the time you graduate, you will be able to manage the movement of goods and services, mitigate risk, analyze operations using financial and trend data, and leverage technology to improve supply chain performance. You’ll also be eligible for advanced standing towards industry-recognized certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) and Six Sigma White Belt, helping you launch a career with confidence in a wide range of sectors.

This program is currently pending ministry approval with its first start planned for January 2026.
