Subject Title
Coronary Care II

Subject Description
This course builds upon students' foundational knowledge of cardiac arrhythmias, emphasizing the nurse?s role in achieving positive patient outcomes. Students will deepen their application of rhythm interpretation, diagnostics, and patient assessment, including history and symptoms. The course will focus on exploring evidence-based interventions and management strategies for arrhythmias. This course offers an exploration of advanced cardiac management and the nurses role, integrating theoretical and practical knowledge essential for handling arrythmias. Students will delve into the application of clinical algorithms to guide decision-making and manage cases. They will study both electrical and pharmacological approaches to acute and chronic cardiac care.  Additionally, students will critique care plans tailored to individual patient needs and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and effective management. By the end of the course, students will be proficient in managing the complexities of arrhythmia care and enhancing patient outcomes through informed, collaborative approaches.
