In Ontario, it is legal for individuals 19 years of age and older to own and grow up to four cannabis plants per household. There are many factors to consider when growing cannabis including either indoors or outdoors. Students will learn the foundations of growing cannabis including seed selection, cloning, light, soil, nutrients, the stages of growth, harvesting and storage. The course will also cover descriptions of processes to create cannabis products based on the plant such as oils, concentrates and edibles.
