HTT601 - Behavioural Economics in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism

Prerequisites:

ENG106, BAB235, HST430

Students will gain insights into behavioral economics principles and strategies in relation to hospitality, travel and tourism (HTT). Students will examine the role of human behavior and consumer psychology on decision-making across different facets of HTT management contexts (e.g., pricing, customer expectations and experience, menu engineering, ethical tourism). Students will cultivate a comprehension of how behavioral economics can be harnessed to manage customer experiences, consumer perceptions, pricing tactics, and business performance.
