Recommended: OBC955 - Part 9: The House-Building Code Building Envelope
This course prepares students to write the "House" Qualification Examination administered by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Students will review the requirements of Part 9 of the Ontario Building Code 2012 with respect to a single detached house, semi-detached house and townhouse. The course is intended to assist students in navigating through Part 9, Division B of the Ontario Building Code while providing an understanding of the relevant requirements in the Code as they apply to the design and construction of a house, semi-detached house or townhouse.
