This workshop will focus on helping participants to understand learning difficulties (i.e. learning disabilities, ASD) and how to work with these students within an online teaching environment. Particular focus will be on these students' abilities and working from a strength-based perspective. The workshop will provide:

1. a basic understanding of the various learning challenges students have
2. how these learning challenges affect their learning; and
3. strategies and techniques that can be useful in the online classroom setting.

Various interactive activities will also be utilized to support the learning. Time will be provided for participants to share their own experiences and difficulties in teaching students with learning challenges, as well as for a question and answer period.
