This course introduces IT project management, covering key concepts like terminology, project life cycles, and essential processes. Students will learn to plan projects, allocate resources, estimate costs, assess risks, and conduct cost/benefit analyses. The course emphasizes strategic leadership, team management, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution. It focuses on leveraging modern technology, including cloud computing, to create competitive advantages. Students will explore ethical leadership, fostering inclusivity, and recognizing diverse perspectives to enhance team performance. Additionally, the course covers legal aspects, including compliance with relevant laws to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
