Prerequisites:
RN - Current registration with the College of Nurses (CNO) of Ontario.
Students develop focused assessment skills related to the physical, psycho-social and spiritual aspects of the individual. Students practice interviewing and history-taking skills as well as psychomotor skills such as inspection, percussion, palpation, and auscultation using relevant technology. The concepts of holistic nursing practice, transcultural and developmental considerations are included.
