Prerequisites:
Good working knowledge of computers/internet, familiarity with internet browsers and social media platforms, some understanding of web design, html and/or java script programming will be an asset but not required.
In this introductory course, students learn about the importance of compiling, analyzing and reporting on website data to drive business objectives. Topics include: website tracking methodologies (past/present/future), the science and art of online measurement and visitor behavior analysis, and reporting on results. Students are introduced to Google Analytics, web metric reporting, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking online business performance.
