To receive the $500 tuition credit per seven-week term, you must provide your Social Insurance Number (S.I.N.) or Individual Tax Number (ITN) on Student Home in the first term of your studies by:
Students studying with a visitor visa in the ELI program for a period of less than six months should contact ELI@senecapolytechnic.ca for their tuition credit.
The tuition credit will be deposited directly to your Student Home account once this information is provided.
After successfully completing your ELI program, you will automatically become eligible for the subsequent entrance scholarship up to $5,000 if you enrol in a full-time postsecondary program with a start date of no later than May 2027. The amount of the tuition credit will be based on the number of years of your postsecondary program and paid as follows:
One-year program - $2,000 (a few weeks after Day 10 of classes)
Two-year program - $3,000 ($2,000 in year one, a few weeks Day 10 of classes, $1,000 in year two)
Three-year program - $4,000 ($2,000 in year one, a few weeks after Day 10 of classes, $1,000 in years two and three)
Four-year program - $5,000 ($2,000 in year one, a few weeks Day 10 of classes, $1,000 in years two, three and four)

February 28 for programs starting in the January term
June 30 for programs starting in the May term
October 31 for programs starting in the September term
Where relevant, any remaining instalments that you may be eligible for in a two-, three-, or four-year program, will be deposited after Day 10 of each subsequent year of the program.
This is a limited time promotion for confirmed offers and is not retroactive. The ELI scholarship is non-refundable.
After successful completion of ELI Level 8, students must start in their full-time program at the next scheduled intake.
The full-time postsecondary program must start no later than May 2027.
The Seneca Entrance Scholarship is non-refundable. If this award results in an overpayment of fees, the excess funds will be automatically applied to the fees for the next semester.
The total value of the ELI tuition credit may vary based on the number of levels completed and can range from $500 up to $2,000, or up to four seven-week levels.
The total value of the entrance scholarship is based on the number of years of your postsecondary program and can range from $2,000 to $5,000.
No cash alternative or substitution will be provided.
