Up to a $7,000 Entrance Scholarship for Applicants to the ELI and a Full-Time Program*

You are eligible if you are a new international applicant either currently in or outside Canada who is applying to an in-person or online ELI program plus a postsecondary program, and you confirm your offer of admission.

You will receive a $500 tuition credit per seven-week term after you begin your studies, and shortly after Day 10 of the term.

The tuition credit is valid for all levels of Seneca’s ELI program, both in person and online, when you begin classes between November 2025 and May 2026.

The subsequent entrance scholarship of up to $5,000 is valid for all ELI students who continue to an available full-time postsecondary program starting in January 2026, May 2026, or September 2026.

You automatically qualify for the tuition credit if you meet the eligibility criteria.

Here is what you need to do:

• Apply to an ELI program and a full-time professional program through our International Web Application. (You will pay a $90 CAD application fee which will be credited to your student account once you're accepted)
• Confirm your offer of admission and pay a minimum $2,000 tuition deposit to receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (if applicable) from Seneca.
• Pay your fees by the due date in the fee notice to secure your spot.
• Complete any remaining steps to enrol at Seneca.

After successfully completing your ELI program, you will automatically become eligible for the subsequent entrance scholarship up to $5,000 if you enrol in a full time postsecondary program. The amount of the tuition credit will be based on the number of years of your postsecondary program.

• One-year program – $2,000
• Two-year program – $3,000 ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in year two)
• Three-year program – $4,000 ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in years two and three)
• Four-year program – $5,000 ($2,000 in year one, $1,000 in years two, three and four)

The entrance scholarship will be deposited directly to your Student Home account shortly after day 10 of the term once you’ve provided your Social Insurance Number (S.I.N.) or International Tax Number (ITN) on Student Home.

Where relevant, any remaining instalments that you may be eligible for in a two-, three-, or four-year program, will be deposited after Day 10 of each subsequent year of the program.

This is a limited time promotion for confirmed offers and is not retroactive. The ELI scholarship is non-refundable.

• After successful completion of ELI Level 8, students must start in their full-time program at the next scheduled intake.
• The full-time postsecondary program must start no later than September 2026.
• The total value of the ELI tuition credit is $2,000.
• The total value of the entrance scholarship is based on the number of years of your postsecondary program and can range from $2,000 to $5,000.
• No cash alternative or substitution will be provided.
