	This course examines the important and growing role services marketing plays in creating and delivering high quality services in the global hospitality and tourism industry. Key frameworks, concepts and methods used in industry will be analyzed to measure service quality and design to deliver outstanding service. Analyzing and discussing current global issues in services marketing and customer service strategies, this course will focus on key service delivery elements and service recovery strategies that supports a consistent global strategy.

	This course will focus on the challenges of the current global economic climate to deliver sustained performance and profitable growth in organizations. The course will provide an introduction to creating a value proposition and delivering on the promise, including looking at program results, data, and blueprinting processes to increase customer satisfaction and build retention. Service Leaders are tasked to create mature service capability that will provide the customer with a unique branded experience, ensure value for money, and build brand loyalty. This course will provide students with an integrated framework to strategically manage challenges that arise and successfully transform services.

	In today's increasingly globalized and culturally diverse business environment, one needs to be culturally sensitive and competent. The course has been designed to help develop strategies for effectively communicating and negotiating with individuals from other cultures. Students will develop written and oral communication skills; examine cross cultural challenges affecting global businesses; and learn different views surrounding ethical issues and corporate social behaviour.

	This course will focus on the application of revenue management principles in the analysis of data reports to identify trends, benchmarking, and forecasting to determine pricing and create demand for offerings. The course will examine revenue optimization techniques for decision-making and incorporate software to integrate revenue management analysis and decisions into hospitality management. Current topics and theories in revenue management are applied to develop recommendations on pricing and distribution.

	Canadians are consuming media differently, socializing in new ways, and demanding access to information anytime, anywhere. The line between personal and business are now blurred. Based on this cultural shift, creating effective digital marketing strategies and utilizing appropriate tactics to achieve marketing and organizational objectives is critical. Digital options whether recommended as a singular solution or integrated with traditional media are now an expected component of marketing plans. The personal brand is distinct from and yet part of the organizational brand.
