The subject introduces the student to the elements of the 'Project Life Cycle' within the project management framework in government, the requirements for sound project planning and leadership, project risks and factors for success, and project reporting. The student will examine the importance of measuring project results, and how to read and prepare statistical reports using Excel. This subject requires the student to develop public speaking skills and make effective presentations using PowerPoint. Lab work will provide practical experience using Excel and PowerPoint.
