Bilingual English-Spanish and LNI 101, 102, 103 and 104 OR LITP Graduates OR 2+yrs interpreting experience
FOR ENGLISH-SPANISH INTERPRETERS Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) is part of Healthcare Interpreting. This 3 hour language specific workshop focuses on a legal framework an overview, stages, practical exercises and challenges for interpreters. This workshop enables interpreters to provide professional interpretation services in MAiD encounters.
Technical requirements:
Internet connection, laptop/computer, working camera, headset, microphone (earbuds can be used but a headset with a microphone is recommended for full advantage). Please note you will not be able to connect to the virtual classroom with a smartphone.
