Students who have previously attempted the Mortgage Agent course and were granted permission for an exam re-write may register to take the re-write under course code MAP012. If you fail the rewrite you must re-enroll in the course, paying the full tuition. This is a FSRA requirement.

On or about the start date, those registered will receive access via Blackboard to book the exam with an online virtual invigilation service called Examity.

Examity provides secure, live, online invigilation services 24-hours a day using your webcam. Please see the Examity system requirements below. Registered students will be able to choose the date/time of their exam during the 7-day window that the exam is available.

Examity system requirements are:

• Desktop computer or laptop (tablets, Chromebook and cell phones do not meet requirements)
• A working built-in or external webcam and microphone
• Internet speed must be at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload. Hot spots are not recommended.
• Browser with pop-up blocker disabled

Please note:

• If taking MAP012I9Y (March 2022 intake), the rewrite exam must be completed online between March 4 to March 11, 2022. No other rewrite opportunities will be available - see important notice below.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Effective early 2022, Seneca will no longer be a course provider for the Mortgage Agent course (MAP100), nor the re-write Mortgage Agent exam (MAP012). Courses running or scheduled to run for the remainder of 2021 will continue unchanged and not experience any disruption. The following highlights the schedule for MAP100 and MAP012 in early 2022:

• MAP100 14-week course will no longer be offered.
• MAP100 accelerated 7-day course will be offered for the final time in February 2022.
• The exam re-write MAP012 will be offered for the final time in February 2022.
