Participants will learn how to design and create professional workbooks using many of Excel's powerful features. Creating formulas, formatting worksheets, using numeric formats, and working with multiple worksheets are just a few of the topics covered in this course.
MCW140, or equivalent experience.
Participants review basic Excel concepts and build on further enhancing workbooks. The use of advanced functions, inserting and formating charts and organizing information with Excel Tables will be explored. Other topics include using PivotTables and PivotCharts, inserting graphic objects and customizing workbooks.
MCW142 or equivalent experience.
This advanced course introduces topics to increase productivity. Participants collaborate with others, audit and analyze worksheet data, incorporate multiple data sources, and import and export data.
In this course, participants will master Pivot Tables for data analysis. Learn to enhance and understand source data, create and customize Pivot Tables, and adjust layouts and field titles. Explore advanced features like calculated fields, subtotals, and multiple data ranges. Create Pivot Charts, establish data relationships, and build comparison dashboards. Discover the best tips and tricks for effective Pivot Table use.
In this course, participants will master XLOOKUP from basic to advanced levels. Learn to extract records, apply advanced filters, and use the SUMIFS function. Create dependent drop lists, utilize XMATCH, and explore TEXT functions like TEXTJOIN, TEXTSPLIT, TEXTBEFORE, and TEXTAFTER. Name cells and ranges, document functions with FORMULATEXT, and print a list of all named ranges. Compare lists, use controls with functions, and discover time-saving shortcuts.
Bring your data to life with Tableau. Participants set up and clean and sort data, import data into Tableau and create and modify professional, interactive Business Intelligence Dashboards.
Power Pivot is an Add-in that works on top of Excel. It enables you to combine data from multiple sources and analyze all the data as if it was all created in Excel. Learn how to bring data from different sources in the data model window then create relationships between the different sources, and analyze the data model using Excel Pivot Tables, Slicers and Timelines.
Using Power Query, bring data into the Power Query editor, to transform the data, merge or append multiple sources, and create measures. Learn the powerful M language of Power Queries to create a proper data set that can be analyzed all together, for a better business decision.
