Dual Credit Bursary Applications Now Open

Seneca’ Dual Credit Program awards Dual Credit Bursaries worth $1,000 to students who have successfully completed a Dual Credit course at Seneca and are now enrolled in a full-time program at Seneca.

Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are now open. Please complete the bursary application PDF and essay and email them to dualcredit@senecapolytechnic.ca. The deadline to apply is Oct. 9, 2026.

To be eligible you must have:

Successfully completed a Dual Credit course at Seneca between 2005-2026
Enrolled in the first year of a full-time post-secondary program at Seneca. Upper year students who have not already received the bursary are also encouraged to apply.
Demonstrate a financial need that exceeds the value of the bursary ($1,000)
You must write a two page typed essay outlining how your Dual Credit experience impacted your decision to pursue college studies
Students who have previously received the bursary are not eligible

Dual Credit courses allow secondary school students to take publicly funded college courses that count towards both their high school diploma and a postsecondary certificate or diploma. These courses provide an introduction to the postsecondary experience and allow students to gain exposure to a chosen career path.

Funding for Dual Credit courses is provided by the Ministry of Education. This funding covers all costs, including transportation to and from campus.

Free Seneca courses for high school students, letting you experience postsecondary education and explore career paths.

Adult Dual Credit

Courses offered through YRDSB and TDSB adult learning centres that count towards both your Ontario Secondary School Diploma and a postsecondary qualification.

School Within a College

Secondary school and postsecondary Dual Credit courses delivered entirely within Seneca's collaborative campuses. Offered through TDSB, TCDSB, YRDSB and YCDSB.

On-Campus Activities
