Congratulations on your offer of admission. Your future starts now. Follow these helpful steps to confirm your program choice and to hold a place in your program.

Step 1: View your offer

Visit Student Home to view your offer. To access Student Home, you will need your Seneca login credentials and your student ID number. Visit Student Home – Quick Start for more information. If you have forgotten, your Student Home login information, please visit MyID Self Service.

Once you’re logged in to Student Home, select the “Admissions” tile to view your offer(s).

Step 2: Confirm your program choice

To confirm your program choice, follow the instructions in the relevant box below:

Confirming one program

Select “Accept” for your academic program of choice

Attending the English Language Institute (ELI) only

Select “Accept” for ELI

Attending the ELI followed by an academic program

Select “Accept” for your academic program of choice

Confirming a graduate certificate bundle

Choose the first program in your bundle of choice, Program 1, by selecting “Accept”

Step 3: Pay your tuition deposit

To reserve a seat in your program and to be eligible to enrol in classes and create a class schedule, you must pay a minimum $2,000** first semester deposit by the due date in your fee notice.

Once you have paid your tuition deposit you will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) and Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL), if applicable, from Seneca.

*Students can receive up to a $5,000 Entrance Scholarship. The amount received is based on the number of years of study. Learn more about the entrance scholarship.

** $2,000 first semester deposit is refundable in case of IRCC refusal in accordance with the terms of Seneca’s Change of Plan policy.

Step 4: Apply for your Canadian study permit

Start your Canadian study permit application, and your co-op work permit, if applicable, after receiving your LOA and PAL from Seneca.

Seneca has partnered with BorderPass to offer you free access to comprehensive immigration application support services for your Canadian study permit. This safe, nationally recognized service connects you with Canadian immigration lawyers who will review and submit your application, ensuring it is complete and accurate.

It is strongly encouraged that you apply with BorderPass as it is a free platform that gives you access to professional immigration resources. Alternatively, you can apply for your study permit directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

If you have been accepted into a program that includes an experiential learning opportunity as part of the curriculum, you will also need to apply for your co-op work permit.  A co-op work permit is required for all experiential learning activities, regardless of the type of experience and whether it is virtual or in person. Please review the details of your program’s experiential learning opportunity on your program’s web page.

It is strongly recommended that you apply for your co-op work permit at the same time as your study permit.
